French afterschool
Register for our afterschool program, whether your child needs time to play before you're ready to pick them up or if they attend another school and you want them to learn or improve their French.
Maybe your child has some French knowledge and you don't want them to lose it, or you are a French parent whose child doesn't speak French: we have the solution for you with our French afterschool program in Winnetka.
The teachers will determine the level of French of your children and place them in a group that matches their level.
Two ways to stay after school
Afterschool care — LPEC students
Reserved for children enrolled at LPEC. Choose your session — your child can then come any day, whenever suits you, during those hours:
Early afterschool
$125 / week
Mon–Thu 3:30–4:30 pm
or $2,100 for the school year
Late afterschool
$250 / week
Mon–Thu 3:30–6:00 pm
or $4,200 for the school year
The rate covers the full week, whether or not your child attends — there is no day-by-day signup.
Parascolaire — French classes after school
$30 / hour / child — 90 minute classes, once or twice a week
Designed for students who are not enrolled at LPEC and simply want French classes after school. Monday to Thursday, 4:30–6:00 pm — all four days are offered, and most families choose one or two per week.
Classes are grouped by level: beginner, intermediate, and francophone.
For francophone children, we teach what the American curriculum doesn't cover — French grammar and conjugation, geography, French/world history.
