Winnetka: few spots remaining!
LA PETITE ÉCOLE DE CHICAGO (LPEC) is the Premier French Bilingual school of the Midwest, serving Chicago's North Shore, and Old Town / Lincoln Park neighborhoods. L'INSTITUT BILINGUE, our full Secondary School Program also serves children remotely and offers adult language classes.
Inspired by the program of the French Ministry of Education, our private school in the Chicago area offers a bilingual curriculum that welcomes all.
Your child will learn French and academic skills at their own pace, thanks to an individual program, based on their strengths.
Our rigorous French language school is unique because of our low students/teacher ratio.
LPEC is not a daycare; it is a full-time French school, with a specific curriculum. We welcome students Monday to Friday.
Discover our programs below.
LPEC offers a total French immersion program from Pre-K3 to Kindergarten. Your child will acquire strong academic fundamentals while learning French.
From 1st to 6th Grade, the program becomes bilingual French-English, and it is tailored to each student's needs.
Grades 7 to 12 are fully bilingual with some subjects taught completely in English, such as British and American History. This track prepares students for the Brevet des Écoles at the end of 9th grade and the French Baccalauréat in 11th and 12th grades.
All our French teachers are native speakers.
